FALSE

Avi Loeb never said aliens are arriving in 16 days.

That claim came from viral social media clickbait, and Loeb publicly debunked it himself, confirming he never made any such prediction. The November 13, 2026 date comes from a 1960 paper in Science by physicist Heinz von Foerster. He used a mathematical formula to show that if global population kept accelerating at 1960 rates, it would hit infinity on that date. It was a theoretical warning about overpopulation, not an apocalypse forecast, and birth rates have dropped drastically since.
