Everything explained about quantum mechanics resisting gravity is standard, well-established physics. When stars like our Sun run out of fusion fuel, gravity compresses the core until quantum mechanics takes over. The Pauli exclusion principle prevents electrons from squeezing into identical quantum states, generating electron degeneracy pressure that holds the star stable without needing ongoing fusion. Astrophysicist Subrahmanyan Chandrasekhar proved that this pressure can only support white dwarfs up to roughly 1.4 times the mass of the Sun. Beyond that threshold, gravity wins and forces further collapse. It is a clean, accurate explanation.
