The underlying AI model, Kronos, is genuinely real and open source. It was created by researchers at Tsinghua University and trained on over 12 billion candlestick records from global exchanges, and Claude Opus 5.5 is also a real model. However, framing this setup as something that predicts market moves before they happen to make thousands of dollars is completely misleading. Financial markets are mostly noise. In independent backtests, Kronos failed to consistently out trade simple moving-average rules, often suffering from curve-fitting. Generating a probabilistic chart forecast is very different from printing free money.
