Checked reel · 29 Oct 2026
The news anchor, played by Jeremy Piven, blindly reads whatever appears on the teleprompter while Cindy (Anna Faris) and the studio crew fight over the keyboard. It is pure comedy and entertainment spoofing horror hits like The Ring and standard newsroom tropes. No real claims or actual news events here.
