Lie group symmetry analysis is a well established method in financial mathematics for tackling non linear Black Scholes equations. When you model illiquid markets where large trades move option prices, the classic Black Scholes equation becomes non linear. That usually makes exact analytical solutions impossible through basic calculus. Using infinitesimal generators and second prolongations to find continuous symmetries lets you collapse a two variable PDE into a single variable ODE. All the formulas shown on screen, including the invariance condition and the 5 dimensional symmetry algebra, match standard academic literature on option pricing in illiquid markets.
