Micro pinhole camera modules with lenses as small as 1 to 2 millimeters are widely mass-produced in China and cheap to buy online. The pinhole lens attaches via a thin ribbon cable to a tiny hidden circuit board and power source. Placing these miniature lenses behind speaker grilles, mesh vents, or digital clocks is one of the most common setup methods for covert cameras. While most stays are completely fine, using your phone flashlight to spot glass reflections inside small holes is a reliable way to check for them.
