Checked reel · 3 Oct 2026
While Rasmus Højlund did perform Cristiano Ronaldo's celebration after scoring for Denmark, the quote attributed to him at the end of this video is completely fake. When social media accounts started circulating that statement about the Portuguese national team, Højlund personally shut it down on Instagram, commenting 'I didn't say this.' It is classic football engagement bait that takes real match highlights and slaps on a made up quote to farm clicks.
