Saudi Arabia did execute two Bangladeshi workers in October 2026 over alleged immoral acts inside a Mecca mosque. However, the comparison being made here is completely misleading. Equating state sanctioned criminal execution under Saudi law to illegal vigilante harassment by Bajrang Dal is a classic false equivalence. Bajrang Dal has no legal authority in India and operates outside the law to harass couples in public spaces. Disapproving of vigilante groups in a democracy while acknowledging a foreign government's judicial actions isn't hypocrisy, it's just basic logic.
