The claim that officers seized the mannequin for lab testing is completely fabricated. Most store mannequins are molded from fiberglass, dark resin, or composite plastic. When the outer white paint chips or peels off over time, the brownish resin base underneath gets exposed, which can look uncannily like skin up close. No law enforcement agency ever impounded the dummy or opened a case. It was simply a damaged store fixture that got turned into an internet horror story.
