LEGIT

This is completely true.

The stuntman running across those real crocodiles in Live and Let Die was Ross Kananga, who actually owned the Jamaican crocodile farm where they filmed. Professional stunt performers refused to do it because of the extreme risk, so Kananga stepped in wearing Roger Moore's suit. It took five takes to get it right, and on one attempt a crocodile snapped at his heel, tearing his trousers and leaving him with 193 stitches. The producers were so impressed by him that screenwriter Tom Mankiewicz even named the film's main villain, Dr. Kananga, in his honor.
