MISLEADING

This is misleading.

While lawyer Nilesh Ojha did hand a pen drive to the CBI in September 2026 following a court order for a fresh probe into Disha Salian's death, his dramatic press claims shouldn't be taken as proven facts. Her father's legal team submitted digital files and alleged witness statements for the CBI to evaluate. These are unilateral submissions and allegations, not verified forensic findings or established court evidence. Previous police probes ruled her death an accident. The CBI is currently reviewing the drive to check if any of the material holds up, so presenting a lawyer's press statement as guaranteed proof distorts where the investigation actually stands.
