The exam tests advanced topics like climate scenario modeling, carbon accounting, and regulatory financial frameworks. Realistic entry to mid-level ESG analyst packages in India range from 12 to 20 LPA, and hiring managers require strong professional backgrounds, not just a standalone certificate. On top of that, registering for the GARP SCR exam costs over $600 (around ₹50,000+), a hefty detail the video completely leaves out.
