Dicyanin glasses were never banned by governments, and they do not reveal hidden dimensions or secret entities. In 1911, Dr. Walter Kilner used glass screens filled with dicyanin dye, a chemical used in photography, claiming he could see human auras. Other medical researchers tested his screens and could not replicate his claims. Staring through dark blue filters simply strains your eyes, creating optical illusions and glowing after-images. The dye fell out of use as photographic technology advanced, not because of a global cover-up. Cyanine-based dyes are still manufactured and sold today.
