The quote floating around social media is completely fabricated by fan accounts looking for engagement. There is no official record or interview where Pepe criticized the current Portuguese squad or claimed they lack hunger. In actual press statements, Pepe has consistently supported both Ronaldo and his national teammates. Text graphics pasted over images are very easy to fake. Always check verified sports news outlets before believing viral quotes on Instagram.
